Connecticut Colonial Fall Door Decorations

Follow Me on Pinterest

Most of my regular readers are well aware that Fall is probably my favorite season of the year.

Recently I’ve taken an interest in photography, and am trying to focus on some themes. When I was in Bermuda, I enjoyed taking photos of the iron gates in St. Georges.

Several weeks ago, I shared historic Connecticut barns, and last week I shared Scarecrows on Main. I enjoy participating in Wordless Wednesday, and since I’ve become a prolific photo-taker, I can’t always put all of them up!

I love decorating my front door for the holidays, or seasons. For fall I usually just hang a flower/leaf wreath on the front door. On the inside I have A LOT of wood doors which actually give the fall look around the house very nice. All I do is add small hanging leaves (kind of like wreaths) from the doors and it adds that continuation of the outside beauty to the inside of my house.
