It’s been a very busy, hectic summer here in Dysfunction Junction, Connecticut.
I’ve mentioned that I’m impatiently awaiting the birth of Slugger, although probably not as impatiently as DD. And then I have my niece’s upcoming wedding, at one of the premier wedding shindig spots in the area.
Last night I took a little “Mommy” time for me (yes, even though my moniker here is ‘Moomettesgram,’ I’m still foremost a Mommy to my own kiddos).
Where was I? Oh, ya. I’m sporting a new ‘do now for the rest of the summer. My hairdresser was prego, and took some time off, so rather than take a chance with someone else, I skipped a few appointments. Anyways, the Blushing Bride and her Soon-To-Be Groom are headed off to the islands for their honeymoon.
I hope they sign up for travel health insurance.
