I have yo laugh at 'going green' too- we were green when it was only a color in a Crayola box!

Love the pics, just seeing them is a walk down memory lane!

I like what you said about the cloth-diapering and eco-friendly stuff. It's true. Girls today seem to think they've just discovered this environmentally sound way of doing things when most of them probably spent the first two or three years of their own lives in cloth diapers.

I hope you had a lovely Christmas!

I loved this. My first daughter was born in 1984 and I had those big yellow diaper pins. Kids these days...what do they know? We did invent going green...lol. My second was born in 1987...so we were raising our girls around the same time.

Amazing how time has passed. Thanks for the memories!

Cindi,
I enjoyed seeing your photos. It's amazing how time flies. When I look at my teens now it's hard to believe they were ever that small (and so adorable!)

Thanks for posting.

I guess your scanner has been getting a work out with all of these photos. It's been worth it though. Loving these posts. My daughter Alicia was born in 1987 too. So nice to relive our good memories.

Cindi I am so enjoying these retro posts from you. I remember we always had one of those big yellow diaper pins in our junk drawer growing up. The image of it came rushing back at the moment you mentioned it. And it's been so much fun seeing your photos!

This is so fun Cindi! You are right, these times seem like nothing new to some of us. I did the cloth diaper thing too, back throughout the 80's and most of the 90's. I actually missed hanging them out on the line after all the kids were potty trained...sick, I know! The photos are fabulous~you were/are such a pretty and hard working mom!
