I was a teen in the 70's (here BTW the law changed in 1979 so I could drink at 18 & was allowed to even after the law changed to 21) For awhile in the 70s & early 80s I was a 'wild child' taking me where the wind blew me. In the 80s I settled down- and now, well now I am middle aged. It's funny though isn't it... you sit and feel sometimes if you're the same, and look in the mirror and an old woman stares back. I finally got my "stuff" together with help from a wonderful friend and a terrific counselor and got out. Then I found the most wonderful man in the world (no offense to anyone else's significant other) and have been married 12+ years very happily. So absolutely I am NOT the same person I was back them....
