I agree with your post. I would add also that Twitter is a forum in which to get to know people in a different medium. As the co-hostess of GNO, I have found it fun to encourage the moms of some of my favorite blogs to join in. It has been awesome getting to know them and chat with them real time in a forum other than their blog or e-mail. I definitely don\'t think it is the best way to get to know folks, just another way.
