Reading this helped me to reflect about my life – where I’ve been and where I’m going. What I like most about what you wrote is that this can help us no matter what age we are.

What an encouraging post! I might have to come back to this one… I’ve had this topic on my mind a lot. I care way too much what others think and I don’t want to be like that anymore. Especially since now I have a little girl who is going to look up to me. I want to pass good traits on to her, and I don’t want her to be afraid to be herself.

Much of our changes come from maturity. I look back on my youth and wonder who that girl was. Some things left behind I long for, and some things I am glad to be rid of.

I also find it very interesting that our self-esteem does not necessarily mirror what other people see in us.

A thought provoking article and I enjoyed it.
